Army PT badge. When do you get it?

When exactly do you take the PT test to try to get the PT badge? Is it when you first arrive to BCT or is it sometime during BCT? I am motivating myself to achieve at least a 270 (90 each event) so that I can get the badge. Thank you! Oh, and I'll be leaving for Army BCT first week of June as a 35M Human Intel Collector.
