To those who think socialism is bad, look at how well it worked in the USSR?

In the Soviet Union, equality had succeeded. The state had nationalized all major industries. Industral output had quadrupleded and Russia went from being a poor tsarist country to a great industrial empire. It had succeeded in establishing gender equality, and women went to university and become doctors, professors and scientists in an era where ism was still rampant in the US. While other countries were suffering from the great depression, the USSR was succeeding in creatingng a better socialist state. The industrial output that haoccurreded during the early years was more superior than that of any other nation. The coutnry ws stable and secure, and was not effected by market fluctuations like the "advanced" capitalist counties did. The USSR actively fought against imperialismsm. The USSR became the greatest nation that ever existed, and it is unfortunate that Gorbachev was too much of a capitalist to continue the legacy, otherwise it would have suceeded and continue to be a great country. The USSR was truly a country that cared about the people, and it is a shame that is no longer. The US could really learn from the successes of the USSR
