Why do Christians say that God does not punish the wicked with AIDS yet believe similar accounts in the Bible?

God can do whatever he wants to do. So certainly he could judge people with disease. And true enough that did happen at times in biblical history. The key is how do you know? You know about the Flood because he said it in the Bible. Read your Bible all you want and you'll find nothing about AIDS.
