Why is this?

A person (12879 icon) posted a question on here and asked for OPINIONS and I answered giving one and she chose my answer as best answer and said it's because It was an example of "misguided" logic. I don't get it. If someone doesn't want answers that they might not like then they shouldn't ask questions. I got 10 points and an insult. Does that make sense?
