Why does everyone thing Austin is so great?

This city sucks! It's way overrated. First of all, it's not as liberal as everyone thinks it is. Yes! It's liberal compared to Ft. Worth, Amarillo, Lubbock, and every other redneck cowtown in Texas. That's a no-brainer. Obviously there aren't too many Austinites that have ever lived in San Francisco. That's liberal! There's a huge difference between the two. If Austin is THAT liberal, then t he black population here wouldn't be shrinking. Second, there's nothing to do here but hang out with a bunch of frat boys down on Sixth Street. Why doesn't the "Live Music Capital of the World" have a symphony? Where's the zoo, museums, planetarium, theme park, and other cultural activities? This city has no culture whatsoever. Yes, San Antonio is right down the road. So what! Baltimore is right down the road from DC. San Diego is right down the road from LA. Their proximities to other major cities didn't stop them from having culture though, did they?
