Should guns like the Glock 19 be banned?

If the shooter had gone in with two 15 round magazines his victims at best would have had only a fraction of a second advantage as he switched from one to another. I carried a Glock 17 as a police officer for years, as a Glock owner yourself you know how easy a magazine change can be done. Limiting the capacity of magazines is a feel good solution for politicians and advocacy groups with no practical effect on a shooter's ability.
