Can you give reasons why Hitler by many was at that time concidered "The Antichrist"?

all of this is open to interpretation, so my dog can be called the antichrist, if i stretch it far enough. in hitler's case i think the christian church says that because of how similar they were themselves, so they tried to show that he is not christian, but actually the opposite.
