Recently our family met an egyptian (muslim), who drinks and has had premarital ...is that normal?

He was over visiting relatives in the USA, met my daughter while working out, dated her several times, then had to leave back to Egypt to school. He plans on coming back next summer break. I just find the values he talked about in his culture in conflict with his behavior. I know his family does not know of most of this.
