Will it be hard for me to get a personal unsecured loan from my bank with a lower credit score?

I bank at ociated bank for my checking. I am a college student with not alot of credit history but my credit score is low at or right below 600. I work part time and make about 1000 a month during school. My car needs repair that is gonna be 1200 approximately. I was wondering since I don't really have anyone to ask to borrow, how my chances are of getting a loan for that much or if there were any better ideas? Tks!
