Elderly cats vomiting?

My 16 yr old cat is vomiting bile-like liquid 2-3x/day for a few days. He also screeches upon doing so ?? He's drinking water okay. He also sits with his face either facing downward or into more of a closed in space for awhile. Any ideas?
